We are very excited to announce that since September I (Cristina) am a member of MEG (Women in Gastronomy).
MEG aims to encourage women’s visibility within the gastronomy sector. Through the creation of a network of women, MEG members support female talent.
In my first meeting, I got to meet great female leaders while discussing some of the most important issues that are of concern to the hospitality sector.
I plan to be an advocate for Spanish gastronomy and female talent in the UK.
There’s still a long road ahead to achieve parity, but through these initiatives we are getting a step closer.
